Zoe’s Place Partnership

We are delighted to be partnered with leading North East baby hospice and respite centre, Zoe’s Place.

What does that mean for our families? Many parents who have a sick or preterm child may find that they need respite support as a result of their child’s additional needs.

Through our partnership and peer support volunteers, we can identify these families and, with the help of health care professionals, refer them in.

Our continuity of care doesn’t stop there, we also provide vCreate in the hospice, to allow families to continue accessing their video and photo diary updates, and we run regular stay & play, and soft play sessions for all the families.

We are also dedicated to supporting those who have lost a baby through our bereavement work. Earlier in 2019 we held a bereavement service for families across the region to come together and remember their loved one on Baby Loss Awareness Week, and in 2020 we’ll be holding a study day with Beyond Bea.
