Sensory play at PenDragon

Neonatal Charity

Thanks to National Lottery funding, we are delighted to offer two dedicated sensory sessions a month at PenDragon in Northallerton.

Our first session takes place on the 1st Saturday of the month and is a full family session. With everyone from grandparents, siblings and auntie and uncles welcome, we use the group to encourage parent infant bonding, sibling to baby bonding, and peer to peer support. These sessions are facilitated by Lottie who is able to offer advice, support and sign-posting.

Our second session takes place on the 2nd Friday of the month, facilitated by our community support worker and ex-NICU nurse, Jan Gavey, is solely for families who have recently arrived home. We also use these groups to encourage parent infant bonding, peer to peer support and parents being able to get advice, sign-posting and support from Jan.

Sessions are open to all neonatal families around the region and must be pre-booked. The links are posted for each session via our Facebook page.
