Leo’s Little Boxes of Love

We know how draining it is when you’re spending all day on the NICU with your baby, or babies. We’ve sat where you are, we’ve done the 10 hour cot-side shift, and we know how chaotic those days can be. The worry, the uncertainty, the anxiety can be crippling.

Which is why, we decided to adapt our welcome boxes for the NICU at The James Cook University Hospital. We put items in there which we hope, will bring moments of calm in all the chaos for parents, just like you.

With everything from a Space Mask (a heated eye mask to reduce tension headaches, and also a great help when you’re struggling to sleep.), a lavender and coconut oil pulse point bottle, to mindfulness exercises with our colouring in postcards. Not forgetting our package of chamomile tea and a vegan soy wax lavender and vanilla candle to help you unwind.

We like to think of it as a nice warm fuzzy hug from us here at Leo’s.
