Emergency Transfer Packs

We are proud to announce that we will be supporting the incredible Northern Neonatal Transfer Service (NNeTS) as part of our work.

The team, which comprises of Consultant, Rob Tinnion, Nurse Lead – Beverly Forshaw and many brilliant transport nurses work right across the region, from Cumbria to Teesside. Their job is transferring, sometimes the sickest or smallest babies to the safest hospital.

Having your baby transferred to another hospital after birth, for surgical needs days or weeks down the line, or even during labour can be traumatic for mums, dads and the wider family. We understand just how scary that can be, and how more often than not, you don’t have the things you need with you.

Which is why, over the next several months we’ll be putting together our packs which we hope will make that transfer less stressful for families and they know, we’ve got them. Each and every family who needs to use NNETS will get their own dedicated transfer pack.

Working to our ethos of #wevegotyou, being able to offer this continuity of care is something we are incredibly passionate about.
