Leo’s Ben Nevis Trek

This September, we’ve organised a tip top fundraiser for raise much needed funds for families of sick and premature babies.

In collaboration with Paul Lewis, an experienced mountain tour guide, we are looking for 15 mountain loving explorers to climb Ben Nevis in September 2022.

The trek is a two day trip, starting on September 23rd with a return date of September 25th.

Itinerary (please note this can be subject to change)


  • Depart at lunchtime (time and location TBC) via mini bus to Fort William
  • Arrive at Fort William, stay in the Bunkhouse accomodation


  • Climb Ben Nevis via the mountain path
  • Return to accomodation with option to go out for a meal to celebrate your epic success!


  • Return home feeling tired, but utterly amazing!

Information about the Mountain Path

Distance | 10.5 miles / 17km

Time | 7-9

The ‘Mountain Path’ is known by a few names including the Pony Track and the Tourist Track. It is a steep long ascent for around 4-5 hours with uneven terrain near the summit.

  • This trip requires a deposit of £100, with a further £150 being paid 6 weeks before the trek to cover your travel, guide, breakfast and accomodation costs
  • We have 15 spaces available and these are on a first come first serve basis. We will hold a waiting list for cancellations
  • Not included in your £250 is equipment, evening meals, packed lunches and insurance. You must make sure you have insurance for this trek, you will be asked to produce a copy as well as a medical fit note prior to the event
  • Sponsorship is a minimum of £600 raised through Just Giving or sponsor forms. All funds must be paid in by October 29 2022
