If you’ve had prior neonatal experience and your baby/ babies are now over the age of two, you’re a HCP, teacher, counsellor or student who’s looking to put their skills to good use, or you’re passionate about supporting families with sick and premature babies, then you’re in the right place.

We are currently recruiting for the James Cook University Hospital NICU, Darlington Memorial neonatal unit and The University Hospital of North Durham neonatal unit with services launching in April 2019. Please fill in the form below to register your interest and sign up to make a difference.

All peer support volunteers will be required to do Leo’s peer support training and have a Trust induction course which will include an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training and more, before you’re able to offer support to our families. All volunteers need to be over the age of 18 for direct parent peer support.
