I attended medical school at Newcastle University from 1996-2002, my medical training included specialising in paediatrics (2003-2009) and a subspecialisation in Neonatal medicine (2009-2014). I spent two years as a Consultant Neonatologist at James Cook University Hospital before taking up my roles as Consultant Neonatologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmaryand Medical lead for Northern Neonatal Transport Service (NNeTS) from 2016 onwards

I have interests in Neonatal transport and neonatal palliative care, and newborn resuscitation and life support at birth.
